The annual technical meeting and exposition of IEST brings together thought leaders in the fields of contamination control; design, test, and evaluation; product reliability; aerospace; and nanotechnology. It offers a chance for technical professionals to share what they have been working on, and work together to develop and improve upon industry standards.

Team Corporation will be attending the expo, which takes place April 27-30th, at Doubletree Boston North Shore in Danvers, Massachusetts. Team Corporation’s VP of Product Development, Bill Woyski, co-wrote a paper with Mike Hale from Redstone Technical Test Center that will be presented. The paper discussed Multiple Degree of Freedom excitation systems and testing. The abstract from the paper states:

“Multiple Degree of Freedom (MDOF) excitation systems vary widely in performance, size, actuator selection and general geometric configuration. When acquiring a MDOF excitation system it is imperative that the test objectives are clearly defined and performance criteria are demonstrated prior to system integration. Development of a general purpose 6-DOF system will be illustrated from establishment of a general scope-of-work, through a detailed design effort and ultimate integration of the system into a dynamics laboratory.”
